يونائيٽيڊ نيشنس آفيس فار دي ڪوآرڊينيشن آف هيومنيٽيرين افيئرس

گڏيل قومن جو انساني معاملن جو رابطائي دفتر

گڏيل قومن جي ‘جنرل اسيمبليءَ’ پاران ڊسمبر1991ع ۾ جوڙيل سهائتا واري هن تنظيم کي عام طور OCHA جي نالي سان به سڏيو ويندو آهي ، سا 1972ع ۾ قدرتي آفتن ۽ هنگامي حالتن کي منهن ڏيڻ لاءِ گڏيل قومن جي ٻئي اداري Office of the United Nations Disaster Relief Coordinator جي جاءِ تي وڌيڪ تيارين ۽ رٿابنديءَ سان قائم ڪئي وئي. اڳتي هلي ان کي آفتن جي حوالي سان انساني سهڪار ، رٿابندي ۽ عالمي جاڳرتا جي شعبن سان سلهاڙيو ويو. هيءَ تنظيم ‘گڏيل قومن جي ترقياتي گروپ’ (United Nations Development Group) ۾ مبصر جي حيثيت رکي ٿي ، تنهنڪري گڏيل قومن جي مختلف ايجنسين ، غيرسرڪاري تنظيمن ۽ سهائتا جي ادارن سان رابطاڪاريءَ جو ڪم به ڪري ٿي ، ته جيئن اوچتين مصيبتن ۽ آفتن جي صورت ۾ فوري امداد جو بندوبست ٿي سگهي . تنظيم جو سربراهه گڏيل قومن جي ‘انساني معاملن ۽ فوري امداد جو انڊر سيڪريٽري جنرل’ آهي ۽ دنيا جي 18 ملڪن ۾ سندس علائقائي رابطائي دفتر آهن
